Alan the Accountant Stars in Kids Book

Why should Bob the Builder and Pat the Postman get all the kids’ attention? Perhaps Alan the Accountant, a new children’s book published on Tuesday, will give children a peek into another career.

“Why should only builders and postmen find fame in children’s books?” The Flaneur said in a statement. “Accountants are vital to the world economy, yet children are not encouraged to say, ‘I want to be an accountant’ in the same way they learn about other careers. This book resets the balance.”

Written by Jinky Fox, Alan the Accountant is published as an app for the iPhone. “Kids like to use the same things they see their parents using,” The Flaneur noted, adding that “they quickly pick up how to swipe the screen and move to the next page.”

Alan the Accountant will star in more soon-to-be released books and The Flaneur plans to publish more children’s books for the iPhone featuring careers children don’t typically read about.
